Juliet Asante -
A product of the Harvard Kennedy School, an Entrepreneur, media and women activist; Juliet is the founder of Eagle Productions ltd, an events and communications company; developing and aggregating content for multiple platforms; with operations in a number of African countries. As the Publisher and editor at large of the Entertainment Today Magazine Juliet also has hands-on creative input and has been responsible for the magazine's creative distinction in Ghana. As the creator and President of the Voice Off Africa Forum, Juliet is an activist in the drive towards closing the gap between media Entrepreneurs and the investment community and has successfully ensured the engagement of stakeholders including policy makers to work towards closing the gap. She actively participates in the Africa Media Initiative to address problems of sector on the continent.
She is the founder and President of Save our Women International and the Eagle Women Empowerment Club (EWEC). Working together, these two organizations work to educate, inform and build the capacity of girls and women in of the areas health and the economy
As a producer, director and writer, Juliet has worked on movies like Deadly Voyage (an HBO movie), Tinsel, Ripples and has written and directed some of the longest running programs on Ghana Television.
Her awards include the ‘Hollywood-Reporter’s’ next generation awards -‐2009. The ʻWorld of a difference 100ʼ by the International Alliance for Women (TIAW)-‐ 2009, Ghanaʼs Assoc. of Women Entrepreneurs as a Leader -‐2009 and Best Actress award in Ghana -‐2001. Juliet is an Aspen global leadership fellow, an alumni of the Fortune/State Department mentoring program and Vital Voices Global leaders forum and Her related experiences include: membership of the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum for two years.
She has in various capacities given presentations on closing the gender gap at the World Economic forum on Africa and on Women's contribution to global security at the Global security forum in Denmark - spear headed by the governments of Denmark and the United States. She has served as a judge on the Emmy's, judging for Asia and is a think-tank member of the Africa Business Women Network

Kunyalala is the head of Eagle Productions, South Africa. She is a legal consultant and Investor and is currently the President of the Business women Association of South Africa (BWA), the largest women organization in S.A. A distinguishing personality in the country, she has been a powerful force in the drive to close the minority gap. |
